Shana started dancing at the age of 3 and continued for 15 years. Trained in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, character, and clogging. She competed in many dance competitions, including Dance Masters of America, Dupree and Tremaine, and attended many dance convention classes.
Shana took time off from dance to achieve her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, marry and start a family. Even as a child, she knew that dance would always be a part of her life. While away from the dance world, she never lost her passion for dance or her desire to share the gift of dance with children.
Shana is committed to providing quality dance education to the children of Vinita and surrounding areas. She strongly believes that every child should be given exposure to the arts and that dance has benefits beyond measure on a child’s life.
Ms. Toni
Instructor
Toni is a native of Pryor, OK. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from St. Gregory’s University. Toni has been involved in the dance world for 41 years and has been teaching dance lessons for 33 years. She is proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Toni has taken dance classes from some of the top dance instructors in the country. She enjoys working with the students and watching them grow each week with what they learn.
Miss. Hadlee
Student Instructor
Miss. Hadlee teaches Gymnastics Technique, 7-9 Combo, Mini Hip Hop, DANCEcamp, and co-teaches 4-6 Combo. Miss Hadlee is also a member of the Joyful Dance Team. This is Hadlee’s 13th year of dance with Joyful Dance Studio.
Mrs. Brandi
Instructor-Studio Director
Mrs. Brandi teaches our Princess Ballerinas, DANCEcamps, and is a substitute instructor. She began her dance journey as a child training in ballet, jazz, tap, and acro, she cheered in high school, and returned to dance in college as an NEO Norse Star. She believes young children learn best through fun and play, which is what our preschool program is all about!
Mrs. Amy
Billing Manager
Mrs. Amy is our studio Billing Manager. She also helps with all front office needs, emails, and organizing performance opportunities for our dancers.
